…also, if you take Hedwig’s photo from the right angle, he looks really happy!
This is Hedwig. After the fires, the Kinglake National Park office lost all of its specimens. A year or so later, my Mum found a dead barn owl while she was walking the dogs. She rang the park ranger to see if they were interested, and they asked her to wrap the owl in plastic and keep it in the freezer until they could collect it. That dead owl ended up in my Mum’s freezer for six months; wedged between the ice cream and the bread. My Dad kept forgetting it was there, and kept mistaking it for food. Finally, the national park had a new office built and Hedwig was sent to the taxidermist. He’s now on display alongside an echidna and a phascogale.
In which Jaime required coffee in order to sit through the wedding vows. [x]please note this is not seen in the episode; it’s from the rehearsal.
What’s brilliant about the writing is that in that moment, that’s the first moment Brienne considers it, and it’s the horror that that might be true and what she might have to deal with. […] She moves away; she doesn’t do the formal exit. She just has to turn away. Even Brienne is incredibly aware of respectability and manners, as difficult as it is for her; she’s still a lady. But she doesn’t give a formal exit, she turns away. Then in her eye-line is Jaime. It’s, I think, really slapped her hard on one side of the face, and then the other even harder, as she runs off red-faced. “Oh, God!” - Gwendoline Christie
"No matter where you’re from, your dreams are valid."
I have read the books, however I’m always curious to see what changes will be made to everyone’s stories each season. I’m especially curious to see what changes will be made to Gendry’s story and whether or not he’ll be where he’s supposed to be by the end of the season (I hope he’s good at rowing) but, we’ll have to wait and see.
